The most recent document consists of a draft Framework Plan, which has been edited to some degree since its release in January 2010. This Draft Framework Plan is a work in progress, and is intended as the basis for community discussion regarding the potential goals, objectives, and strategies for the Spit. 

This document will be reviewed by the Homer Planning Commission (Spring-Early Summer 2010). As the Commission conducts work sessions to review and edit this document, there will be opportunities for the public to both listen and provide comments.

As the Commission finalizes its input, refinements, and edits to this Framework Plan, we anticipate that the document will be substantially improved. A revised draft will be released to the public, and a highly publicized set of public meetings will be held in August prior to creating a Draft Comprehensive Plan.
